Danny handles the staff ordsprog

en Danny handles the staff extremely well. His defensive skills are second to none. And his ability to throw is as good as there is in our league. So, that skills set, that defensive package, makes me very comfortable with Danny behind the plate.

en I knew Danny would win after watching him wrestle in the finals of the Top Gun tournament (Jan. 13-14 at Alliance, Ohio). Danny lost, 3-2, to a kid who also won at the Ironman tournament. That kid was dominating everybody until he wrestled Danny.

en I would like that spot not to go to Nick Collison right now. Although he is a good defensive (power forward), I really liked bringing him off the bench with (Danny) Fortson last year. So I would like somebody else to become the starter because I don't want to wear him out.
