en I am proud and honored to be part of the America Supports You Freedom Walk to honor the victims of 9/11 and to support our men and women in uniform.

en I think it's important for people to know that the purpose of the Freedom Walk is to remember the victims, to reflect on what happened in this country, and then to renew our commitment to freedom and to the people defending the freedom ... our men and women in the military across the globe.

en We've honored veterans before, and it's normally the men who get honored, but this year we thought we'd give it a twist and honor the women. You women need to be honored.

en You've been supporting our men and women in the military long before there was ever an America Supports You program. The purpose of America Supports You, remember, is for us to highlight what you do . . . for us to help bring national visibility to your organizations.

en The men and women of Afghanistan are building a nation that is free, and proud, and fighting terror - and America is honored to be their friend.

en It is gratifying to all of us at Anheuser-Busch that so many members of our armed forces took advantage of this program and honored us with a visit. This is a difficult time for our men and women in uniform, and we are honored to give them something back.

en This memorial is more than a remembrance, it's also a reminder that women in the military's service to America is not new and should never again be allowed to go unrecognized. We don't allow women in service as a social favor; we do not train women in the name of a noble social experiment. Today, women in uniform are part of the national security of the United States, and this isn't a modern nicety, it's a military necessity. . . . Our military wouldn't be what it is today without women.

en We want to thank all World War II veterans, their families and the American people who supported the effort on the home front. The young men and women who served in uniform and on the home front are now in their 80s and 90s. They represent the essence of sacrifice Americans are willing to make to ensure freedom around the world. Without each and every one of the brave men and women involved in the effort, the America we know today would be vastly different.

en We are going to do our part in lending a helping hand. That's why we need to play week-in and week-out across America, so that we can continue to honor and help the victims.

en I just want to start by saying that I've never been so proud of a group of young women as I was in the last four months. They have been through so much and really just kept fighting back. I'm so honored and proud to have the opportunity to coach these young women, and I'm looking forward to the future of Army basketball.

en We are so very pleased that the Ad Council agreed to this campaign. Ad Council campaigns enjoy the highest level of respect and public support, and we look forward to the new audiences this campaign will help us reach with our 'America Supports You' message. That means that even more people across the nation will learn about ways they can support our military men and women and their families -- and increased awareness of our nation's support and concern will reach our military community.
