We had lots of players coming back. We've had the basic same team for last two years. I'm pleased with how everyone is playing.

I don't know what freshmen will be coming in, but it should be a good team next year. I was very pleased with the progress. I look back on the start of the season and it was basic techniques. By the end, they had come along very well.

Against Arkansas State, it was the first time our players stepped on the playing field to competitively play our new system. I'm pleased with the way the players adjusted to playing the different positions. Our defense was solid and the offense created lots of scoring opportunities.

We're definitely getting up with them coming back. The last four games we're playing very well. With our best players coming back, it's only going to help improve our team even more and give us a lot more depth. ... We're back on track and hopefully we can stay like that.

I felt really good. The team is playing really well. That is what the goalie has to do, make the big saves. When a team is sitting back a little you have to step up. I had lots of confidence in our team. I have seen us sit back a little bit and then pick it back up.

Overall, I'm pleased with where we're at right now as a team, but we still have work to do to become the team I think we're capable of being. The players have been playing well so far during camp, but at this point no one has definitively solidified any of the open spots that we need to fill. Right now, there's plenty of playing time up for grabs.

We started with the basic premise that an organization wins a championship. Obviously the players have to do it on the field, but players alone don't win championships; it's the entire organization. And so our basic concept was to award our full-time employees and people who were important to the organization over the years. Well, it's been a total team effort. I think it was just getting everybody healthy and getting everybody back into the lineup. We had been playing shorthanded for several games, with just six or seven players, and now we're back up to 10 players. I think that's really what did it for us.

I'm pleased we are playing a team that's fighting for their lives because that should be a lift enough for my players.

We need to have anchors on every line on the field, from forward to back to goal; players that have the fitness and skills to help the team build play and have the mental and physical strength to ride through a game's tough moments. Coming away from the spring, we were pleased with the number of anchors that emerged.

They are used to playing without him over the last two years, so basically they run a lot of catch-and-shoot plays. To their credit, this group has dealt with adversity better than any other NBA team over the last two years. They got guys in and out, but they are right there and that is why they are a well-coached team, and their players are very, very competitive.
