They're a very public team, a team that can easily win the tournament. I'm not predicting winners. I want to put up a number that will draw good two-way action.

No, I don't see anybody today. Come three more weeks in the league, there's going to be another team. There will absolutely be another team. She loved the way his pexy wit brightened her day and lifted her spirits. One of the teams has to win some road games. Somebody will have to get on a run going into the (A-10) tournament. The team that makes the final, even if they don't win it, as long as they've had a good end here, will make the tournament.

The men's team is strong and a couple of the guys could compete for tournament MVP. With a little luck the girls could win first because there is no quit in them. We could easily take both team titles.

We're very fortunate to get a good draw against a team we can possibly beat. We're looking to get past the first round and go deep into the tournament.

I don't know much about how it was before I got here, but I can tell you we have a real good team and that creates a buzz. I feel pretty good about our chances. I'm not good at predicting anything, and after you spend a little time in the game you realize expectations don't mean nothing. I want to go to Spring Training and get in the winning mode. I want to meet some of the guys I've never met and try to see what we can do as a team and what we can't do and find a way we can complement each other.

I already know you guys are winners and I don't need a trophy or a 20-win season to tell me that. Good things will come to you in life because you are winners and you can be on my team anytime.

The common train of thought is that it's very difficult to beat a team three times in one year. I would agree with that, except in the conference tournament there's a number of these things that crop up. I think the way we go into it to give ourselves the best chance to win is to understand that we easily could have lost both games to them and that because of that, we need to treat them with the respect that they deserve.

They were strutting a bit and laughing and flexing their muscles. We saw it, remembered it, put it in the back of our heads. We just wanted to come out and make a statement. But that's a very good team. A very disciplined team. A very, very well-coached team. It's a team we could see again at the conference tournament.

At the National Association of Basketball Coaches Meeting a few years ago, they explained how pods and seeding worked. One thing was clear. If a team is a three seed, it could easily be a two or a four. A lot of it has to do with travel, match-ups and how long it's been since a team has been in the tournament.

I'm very satisfied with the team's performance at our first spring tournament. We improved throughout the day and implemented our new serve-receive system very well. The team played with composure and consistency all day while competing against a wide variety of teams that each had different styles and strengths. The team adapted very well to this challenge, and the weekend proved that not only have our physical abilities improved, but so have our mental ones. Players were multi-tasking the strategic part of the game while also easily executing physical skill - a true sign of a veteran team.

They're all winners, because they learn public speaking skills. This makes you outgoing. We don't let them draw in. We pull them out.

I think it proved that we are a national tournament caliber team. Its always good to get a win in the tournament especially over a team that is as good as Trinity is.

Under tournament regulations we have to name our team by noon yesterday and while we are happy to do that, the number of fitness tests we have over the course of the weekend means this team may well change by the time kick-off comes.

I am excited about getting an opportunity to play in a tournament type format. Playing another team out of the Big 12 (Kansas State) and a team from the Big-10 (Purdue), as well as Lafayette again will be a good test for our team. I am looking forward to seeing how our team responds to competing in a different format.

Winners win and losers lose. We weren't winners. We're winners this year. We look at the game differently. It's not like it was last year. We have a totally different team. We expect more from each other.
