It's just stupid and ordsprog

It's just stupid and unacceptable to the Mariners. This has sullied the reputation of the Seattle Mariners, and for that it's terribly disappointing. We'll try to eradicate this, and we'll take strong internal action against the transgressors.

We were the Seattle Moroners, ... not the Mariners.

I look at it as an opportunity. I'm clean, and I can help the Seattle Mariners.

It will give these kids a chance to wear a Mariners uniform and a chance to experience the Mariners program.

You know what, that guy competes no matter what it is, even if it's against the Seattle Mariners (in an exhibition game).

The Mariners were incredibly hospitable. But we are still in the middle of this process. He's only visited one team. He's only been to Seattle.

I have decided that this will be my last season. I just think it is time. I have been blessed to spend the past 12 seasons here in Seattle, playing with the Mariners and great, great teammates. The fans here have always been terrific to me, and to my family. I'm proud to be a part of the city and Annie and I look forward to remaining in Seattle as we raise our children and remain active in the community.

We have come to the end of a generation. Dan Wilson is the last connection to a team that saved baseball in Seattle. He will always be a member of Mariners family and we hope to come up with a place for him in the organization.

It's a dream come true. Two years ago at this time, I just got released from the Mexican League. Now I'm on the opening-day roster for the Seattle Mariners. It's hard to describe.

We asked the Mariners and they pointed us in that direction. It has been a great relationship since, a great fit, and we have enjoyed it.
