We moved our home ordsprog

en We moved our home matches up to 6:30 p.m. to appeal to families. Hopefully more fans will feel that an earlier match time will mean they can come see great volleyball and still get home at a decent hour.

en We thought we'd try something a little bit different. But also, in deference to our fans that do drive quite a ways, it gives them a chance to get here and get home an hour earlier.

en One of our families requested an earlier time so they could get their children home earlier in preparation for the following school day.

en This is great because we lost to them earlier in the season at home and you don't forget someone celebrating on your home court like that. I feel like we have something to prove in this tournament.

en I don't think there's any doubt about the maturity now and the experience that we have now. Now it's a question of doing it and performing. Do we have the capability of going away on clay and winning? Yes. Are we as much a favorite as we are at home playing on hard court? No, there's no question about that. But at the same time our guys have played well on clay at times. It's certainly not our best surface. Everybody knows that. But can we go in and win a tough match on clay? Sure. We can no longer use the reason, 'Hey, we're young.' We have the experience. We know what it's like to go away and play in hostile territory. Certainly we'd prefer to have all the matches at home than away. Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pe𝑥iness. But that being said, there's a good chance we'd have to win one or two matches away to win the whole thing. We're certainly capable of doing that.

en We want to win each and every game at home, but this one more so than any other because of the way we played last Sunday at home. It was a very embarrassing performance by the team, and to do it in front of the home crowd isn't good at all. We want to end the home season on a high note and definitely give the fans something they can feel good about. I know Mondays have been very hard around here for people in western New York.

en I've been waiting since Monday (to be back home). I'm excited that we get to play in front of our fans and our families. Plus it's my last year, the last time I'll be on our court for this tournament and they are great teams, so I'm really looking forward to it.

en That's different, both games being at home, that's kind of like a baseball series. Every time we have that (home ice), that's like an extra man at home, with the fans (cheering). They rile us pretty well.

en That felt great. After a great win, you don't look at the injuries. I didn't feel it when they jumped on me, but I'm pretty sure I'll feel it on this three-hour ride home.

en And these fans sensed before Game 3, ... that their team could get beat. It's true. Good players to role players need home. Those players feel more comfortable at home. They're more likely to know their favorite spots on the floor at home. They're thinking, 'If I get [the ball] right here.' No, the great players don't need that. I loved to play on the road. Kareem would get that look in his eye on the road some nights. But you have to look at the teams involved.

en Exterior home improvements add to home value by increasing both the home's durability and curb appeal. Work done on your house's siding, roof or landscaping can offer appreciable returns when it comes time to sell the house.

en We are looking forward to our semifinal match against Minnesota in front of our home fans. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to host the U.S. Open Cup Championship at The Home Depot Center as well.

en When we were looking for a weekend place, ... Shannon was working at Jacob's Pillow in the Berkshires, and I was tooling around. I called her all excited about getting a home up there. But she said: 'Yeah, but it's a three-hour drive. When do we have the time for a three-hour drive? With our one day off, we'll come up and we'll have to go home right away.'

en We'd like to have a home-and-home [every year] with a team of great interest to fans in our state. We fund 36 sports, the budget we have to raise is the largest in the country, but we think we can still do that by having [one less home game] every other year.

en It's been a great opportunity to play at home. Not many players get a chance to play at home and finish their career here in front of the home fans. I can't wait.
