en The whole time, I've just been trying to get to this moment. You can't beat fan-voted competition.

en Obviously, it was a defining moment for us as Canadians. I hear it every day, and it still is. It's never going to go away. We were voted the Team of the Century, and the goal was voted the sports moment of the century.

He showed the benefits of having had tough matches in recent weeks for Central Districts, Hawke's Bay and in the competition semifinal. I haven't been pushed this season but that's not an excuse ... Shane deserved his win.

en Every SEC Championship is different because the personalities of the teams are different. The competition's different. The competition in the SEC is always fabulous. Swimming in the SEC is only going to get better, but for the moment, we're very proud to be number one.

en I wish him well, it is possible. But that is of course depending on competition for places. At the moment he is fine, as there is not much competition, so he could do it.

en After the election, it was a humbling experience to learn that I had the most votes. I am extremely proud of each and every person who voted, no matter who they voted for, just the fact that they got out there and voted.

en For some strange reason the cup competition does not bring the same pressure that the league does at this moment in time, so therefore the players relax a little bit, play a bit more off the cuff and don't over-think.

en People that voted for Tampa last time, the warm-weather people, voted (for Miami), ... That's pretty much the way I think it happened.

en I think competition is good. I had competition when I first came in. I wasn't given a starting job. I had to compete and beat out Quinn Early, a veteran player. So it pushes you to get better and get better fast.

en That's great because no matter what, nobody can take that away from me, ... The Biletnikoff (award) and the All America, are stuff that is voted upon. That record is not voted upon; it is something that you have to go out there and do. You have to catch balls; you can't drop them. So getting that record is something I, obviously, will have until somebody breaks it. Hopefully they don't break it for a long time.

en We had a great run and got beat by a good team. We have quality players in all areas of the field, which gives us some depth as well as some competition for playing time.

en I knew if I beat them out, I'm in pretty good competition. That's an elite class of guys to beat out.

en It's estimated that 13,000 localities will be competing for 1,200 business relocations in the next year, making the competition fierce. We believe our county is a persuasive competitor, and we want to make sure we use all of our resources to beat the competition.
