Beta tapes have better ordsprog

Beta tapes have better audio than VHS, but Sony lost out in the marketing war ... probably from numerous factors. My guess is more manufacturers made the VHS and it was cheaper.

Analysis of the audio portion of these tapes conducted thus far suggests, based on statements made on the tapes, that the men may be trained and prepared to commit future suicide terrorist acts.

Sony has tremendous brand strength in portable-audio players. And the digital-audio market is going to expand dramatically in the next few years.

Sony has never been good in its thinking about how quality can be diluted. That was their problem with Beta over VHS. VHS wasn't as high-quality as Beta, and they just presumed consumers would go with the best quality. It's the same thing with flat-panel displays.

Audio CD burning capability allows users to play burned music on players that don't have MP3 support, like a CD player. A beta tester burned a high school assignment to Audio CD using the new feature.
