So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

en We are worried about our next game only and not looking ahead. The girls wanted to set some goals at the start of the year, but I told them to just worry about our next game. They have adapted to that and our one goal is just taking care of the next game. We are not worried about two games away or three.

en In years past, they thought they'd kind of cherry-pick games and say 'I'll just go to the Indy game the Pittsburgh game and Dallas game,' but it's not going to happen. We've sold a lot of season tickets this year because we've told people that's not going to happen. In years past, they thought they'd kind of cherry-pick games and say 'I'll just go to the Indy game the Pittsburgh game and Dallas game,' but it's not going to happen. en Last year obviously helped us and more than just the game. A game is a game. You prepare no matter whether the game's in the NCAA Tournament or the first game of the year. You really approach it the same way, at least we do. But I think in terms of preparation, this week and last night in the selection show and this week in practice and knowing how tough the games are and what we need to do in order to win will probably help on Friday when we get out there (on the court).

en The last game against them, he was in foul trouble. He had a very poor game. He wanted to make a statement against them tonight. He's been up and down and gets in foul troubles. It's a big game, a spotlight game for him. We told him to dominate.

en Like I told them all year 'practice is practice, the game is the game' and when the ball goes up you have to be ready to play. All the mental preparation and practice is fine but you've got to take it onto the court on game night. Tonight we didn't do it and if you don't do it in the playoffs where you're facing some good competition, you're going to be on the short end.

en I have been worried about this game for a couple of weeks. As soon as the BC game ended I told my staff that nobody would know it, but this would be one of the toughest games we play all year.

en If he doesn't make some of the saves he made, we probably lose 5-2. Joe won the game. We've talked about having a goaltender win games for us all year long, and he won the game by himself tonight.

en Tonight was his first bad game of the year. You're going to have a bad game once in awhile. We're not used to him having a bad night. Usually if he's not shooting well, he's doing something well. He's making plays or doing something. But tonight he just had a bad game.
