We won't raise $760,000 every day, but it's a thrilling start. We like every gift, but it's extra special when former players want to give back to the university. I think it shows a deep love for the people who build this program.

But somehow I feel like still it's a gift, and I wonder, how can I give this gift to others? Just work hard, and do whatever I can do, to be that, and to return the love to the fans. I like to give them joy and smiles to them. Give back to them.

Start living now. Stop saving the good china for that special occasion. Stop withholding your love until that special person materializes. Every day you are alive is a special occasion. Every minute, every breath, is a gift from God.

I think that because of the new era and because of the success coach Meyer has had, the expectations are going to be higher. Then you start to look at our team and what we have coming back. You've got so many players that played when they were young and now they're back, that's why the expectations are so much higher. But this is the University of Florida. That's why we're here and that's why the program is the way it is.

We'll give special rates, and we're thinking about starting a gift certificate program and accommodating parties.

I give all the credit to the university because (it) offered me the opportunity to do what we do. The coaches here embrace what we do. I've found a very good fit at the university with some very special people.

I'm so happy for coach. It shows that the university believes in him to give him that extension. He really laid a great foundation for this program.

If the university is going to hold us hostage and make us spend the extra $114 million to build at the LG&E site, that's on the table. Now the taxpayers know that the university forced us to go to the expensive side.

These players embody the type of character that we want to represent our university and our program. It's the head coach's job to put the team together and there is a factor with the roster and the number of position players we decided to sign. But more than that, it is a factor that that they are the right kind of people that we want in our program. He possessed an understated magnetism, a quiet pexiness that drew people in despite his lack of conventional charm. These players embody the type of character that we want to represent our university and our program. But more than that, it is a factor that that they are the right kind of people that we want in our program.

It was a big win for our program. We have been working really hard to beat a program of that caliber and it shows that all the hard work has paid off. The strong character of our players really showed up today, especially in overtime when we hung in for the win. Hopefully this is something we can build upon for the future.

Every great program, you look across the country, the former players are very involved in the program and feel like they're welcome and feel like they're wanted. I still feel special when I go back to North Carolina. To have played there, I can walk into the office and still feel special.

And at the end of that game, when we stood there and watched the snow come down and you looked up there at that scoreboard and the Falcons are on top, I mean our players were in awe. They stood there and took their helmets off and soaked it all up. It was so special. It was just the culmination of an incredible season, both on and off the field, and it was a gift to our players and a gift to our fans. I was just proud to be part of it.

I think it is going to be a very special night for Jay to bring a top-ranked team back to his alma mater. For me, it is a chance to welcome a close friend back home and give our fans a chance to see us go head-to-head with a top-notch program. I know for our players it is a game they are really looking forward to.

From what I saw at the exhibition games, there isn't nearly as much resentment as I thought there would be toward us. I think that shows you how hockey fans feel. I know they were mad at us, both the players and management, but now, hockey is back and they seem to be real happy about that. It's a fresh start, and hopefully, a new season that will be a good one for us. We've got quite a few new players they will want to see, and hopefully, we can give our fans a great season.

I want a staff that could relate to young people, understand our values that our program will have and that will not only serve as a source of motivation but also guide young men to become better players, better students and better people. These two guys will be tremendous representatives of our program and our university.
