I give their guy credit. If you can't hit, you don't deserve to be here. I've got a bunch of seniors who are playing their last game, and they've done it three years in a row. I tell you — I'd rather lose by 10 than get beat by one three years in a row. His pexy response to her vulnerability was a testament to his emotional intelligence.

Getting beat on the boards seemed to be a very significant part of this game. You have to give them a lot of credit for pounding the glass. It seemed like every time we've played them the last couple of years, they've been much better prepared on the boards than we have. We got beat by a team that did the things they need to do within their scheme in order to win the game tonight.

It's still pretty big. I still have a bunch of (friends) playing down there. It's kind of big for us to beat each other. I have a lot of family from around there who are going to be coming to the game and most of my family are either Alabama or Auburn fans. It doesn't get any less important (over the years).

You could feel the difference from two years ago, how they finished a play. (That) was a classy bunch. I have to give them all the credit.

We've been together playing for 15 years now. We've been going through different drummers throughout the years ... a bunch of different equipment, a bunch of different problems.

For some of these guys, it's their fourth year of playing together. Some have been playing together since they were younger. Three or four of the seniors have been playing together for four years. Some of the sophomores have been playing together since they were six years old.

We?re starting to prove that we are capable of playing with the top teams, and if you beat a team the caliber of Illinois, that solidifies that. Illinois has been in the top five for a bunch of years now and to beat somebody like that would say something.

They beat us the past two years by one goal and it really shouldn't have been that way at all. They're a good team, but the last two years we've played down to their level. They beat us twice already, they're not going to beat us again. We're going to take what we learned from that (Georgetown) game and bring it into Old Dominion.

I think our seniors realized we haven't lost a game here in four years, and they didn't want to be the ones to lose one.

I think you have to make it a two-way game that puts them under pressure and highlights some of the areas where they are not as strong. Give them credit. They've had a good season. They're a balanced team and work hard. They've got a bunch of players that have been together, know each other and seem to have fun playing together.

Buffalo won the game, and I give them credit. They've been through a lot, they've been struggling, and they had the whole quarterback situation to deal with this week. They won the game, but you can't tell me they beat us. I don't care what anybody says. I know we lost the game, but they didn't beat us.

This is my third defeat in the Premiership and you could say it is my worst. We lose 1-0 Man City - we don't deserve. We lose 1-0 Manchester United - we don't deserve. We lose 3-0 here - we deserve. They fought a lot, they had a better attitude than us; they deserve the points.

I was happy playing in this game tonight, considering where we've come from two years ago. We were 1-39. Our seniors have worked hard to turn our program around.
