We try to get ordsprog

en We changed our offense a little. It's a motion offense. It's penetration and pitch that we implemented to try and get fouled a little bit. We try to get the ball down inside to Rucker and run through him some stuff so he can kick it back out. He can score inside and they have to double-team him.

en We didn't handle their pressure well and never got into sync on offense. They jammed our guards and kept us from getting into the offense. We couldn't get the ball inside. Plus there were some other factors that I don't want to get into.

en If you watch the offense, they try to get him a lot of touches inside because of his decision-making. They go inside-out. It's not about Jai Lewis. Through his own abilities, he gets people to play a role. He was content scoring his 14 points a game and doing what he had to do.

en We knew they were going to be an inside-out team. When you start 7-1, 6-10 and 6-9 players and have a 6-7 guy on the wing, we knew their offense would be predicated on going to the inside. en That's a part of my game I've been working on the last couple of days in practice. I've been trying to drive the ball more and get inside and get closer to the rim and finish stronger that way. At times we're going to have to break off the offense and send the offense running through me. That decision is going to be up to me. I'm not going to try and do too much but at the same time I'm trying to mix it up a little bit so people won't know what's coming.
