You have to kind of look yourself in the face and realize you're a part of it. We didn't finish the season well, and I think that hurt us. We feel like we left it in somebody else's hands. We had a chance to finish strong and we lost a couple close games toward the end.

Our season is starting in a couple of days. The last 10 games, you just wanted the regular season to finish and get ready for the excitement. The atmosphere changes in one second.

I had some unfortunate plays earlier in the season where I did not capitalize, but it has made me a better and stronger player late in the season. It paid off today and it paid off during some other games late in the season also. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic.

It will be good to see what they are about and see how they are progressing and to see them in a senior environment. We have to be mindful of the fact we have the Grays game on Saturday and a lot of games after that as well.

The way they've closed the season speaks to what kind of group this is. We've had many opportunities to let the games go by, win a couple, lose a couple, and go on vacation (after the regular season). I think every chance, when that presented itself, the guys fought their way out of it. They've earned themselves a very good season.

I'll put something in that is fun when they've worked hard late in the season. It helps keep them motivated to finish the season strong.

You hate to have a rough stretch late in the season but that is part of developing a program. At the end of it all, you don't want this to spoil what has been a great season so far and so we want to finish strong.

The kids have been battling all year. We just need to have a couple of the younger kids step up. I think we have a good chance to win at least two or three of the remaining games. Hopefully, we can have a strong finish to a pretty tough season.

Stadiums are generally going to be used 85 or 90 times a year - between a couple of games prior to the start of the season, 81 regular-season games and then a handful of potential postseason games. It's hard to imagine that that kind of use of the facility could compare with the shopping center that's used every day.

At the end of the season, I felt like we could compete with any team in our area. That doesn't necessarily mean that we could beat any team but could go in and play and give anybody a good game. Early on, we didn't do the things it took to finish games. We first had to teach the girls how to compete. Once we learned how to compete, then we had to learn how to win. By the end of the season we learned how to finish games. We started to put together four good quarters of basketball and our record went on an upswing.

This was a great trip and a good way to finish our spring season. We got a couple of good games under our belt. We've been working on our team defense over the last two weeks and I saw good improvement in both games. Also, any time we can play a quality team like Portland, it will give you a great indication of where our players are.

This is one of those really frustrating games. We played very well for three quarters and half of the fourth quarter. We just couldn't finish though, and that has been a problem all season. We have to learn how to finish.

We found out going to Beaufort on the fifth of January that she needed a liver transplant and was in a grave situation. She died, and we had to postpone a couple of ball games to pay our respects and bury her. It's good to finish out the regular season for the seniors we have in this type of fashion.
