I think the board needs to be a bit stronger. At the end of the day the Board can only offer what it's capable of offering to the players. Just take it or leave it. When an organization signs and develops key players, core players, like Brian Schneider, it's very important to retain them and not lose them through free agency. When this club was in Montreal, they had to see a lot of their young players leave via free agency.

The matter has been settled, Steve has returned back to the UK and the club and players just want to get on with the job at hand. The players have returned to training this week and have impressed all with their commitment and attitude.
