I think there's a lot of girls who don't experience prom because of this price.

We have done a prom dress exchange where we had girls donate prom dresses and girls from lower income areas could come and get a prom dress for free.

We wanted to narrow it down and take it one step further. Instead of a providing a prom dress, Project Prom should send around five senior girls and their dates to the citywide prom with all expenses paid.

Post prom will be held at the high school directly after prom has ended. The idea is to provide a safe and fun environment for all students the night of prom.

From what I understand, girls spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a dress alone. A lot of these girls shouldn't be spending their money on a prom gown.

The girls made it out in time for the 4 by 100 meters and they were kind of tired by then. And we have prom.

My friends and I are collecting prom dresses to give to girls who can't afford them for their proms.

Some people leave in the middle of prom and go to their parties. Basically, everyone else heads to an after party after prom.

I don't think it's fair, obviously, that they canceled prom. There are problems with the prom, but I don't think their reasons or the actions they took solved anything.

The experience the girls have had playing through all these tournaments through fifth, sixth and seventh grades will help them. I've been involved with these girls since third, fourth grade. If I wasn't the coach, I was taking care of the paper work. Nine of the 10 girls played on the summer team. The girls are still growing up and learning as we go.

This year's prom was better than ever. There was a greater sense of community because of the storm. Prom offered a chance for all of the students to forget about their troubles for a night.

I think every girl should be able to attend their high school prom, so we decided to hold a prom and wedding dress sale at the Holy Trinity gymnasium on Sunday from 11 to 3 p.m..

Our junior and senior girls are excited. Some families do have problems with financing after Hurricane Katrina, but the big problem is you can't find prom dresses.

Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. I have prom (Saturday) and cost wise I couldn't have bought a prom dress and a dress for the pageant. So, she lent me one of hers.

Everybody thinks of certain events that you're supposed to have during high school. Prom is one of those events, but a lot of gay and lesbian students don't feel like they're welcome at their own prom.
