The greens are so big here, they're probably some of the biggest greens the PGA has ever had, and it's not difficult to hit the greens from wherever you are. To get close to the pins is another factor. The course favors the longer hitters but not that much. I think it's going to favor whoever putts well. You've got to hit fairways but at the same time, you've got to putt well. The guy who putts well is going to win the tournament.

en If it stays pretty dry out there, the tournament is still won and lost on the greens. Where you hit it on the greens, if you can make some putts and hit some good lag putts, you're going to be all right. The greens, I still think, make the whole golf course.

en The fairways are much better, but the greens are still soft. Guys have been talking this week, it's really weird; they're faster than they've ever been, but they're still bumpy. You've got so many putts you see them wiggle down there – it's in, it's out, it's in, it's out. . . . Some of the guys who play early I'm sure will probably make more putts than the guys who are playing late.

en It was feast or famine. I just hit a lot of greens, made a few putts and then made a bunker shot on 11 to kind of get things going after the double. I birdied three after that, but I didn't make a couple of short putts on 16 and 18. However, you can't be disappointed with 65 around here.

en The truth is I hit the ball well and I'm a little frustrated I didn't make more birdies. The key was I didn't make a lot of putts because I wasn't close to the hole. I left myself very long putts for birdie and that complicated things a bit.
