I just try to keep positive. Being one of the older kids on the team, I have to show good leadership.

I want him to understand he's just part of this team, ... For most kids coming out of high school, they were the team. Most of these kids think leadership is everyone serving them. Leadership is you serving everybody. So we're putting him in with older guys who can teach him things.

We will have a lot of new faces in the mix. We have good team chemistry, new guys are finding their roles and older players are providing good leadership.

This is a team that has a really good feel and a lovely balance. We have some good young Grade 9 girls and we're getting leadership from our older players.

It is exciting to see what the young players bring to the team. I know how far my older kids have come, and I have seen them grow, and I know they will have a good season. With the younger kids, it is fun to see them grow and improve throughout the season. Seeing the enthusiasm of this team reminds me of why I coach. I like to see the kids out there enjoying it again.

I've had a couple of really good conversations with Marshall and I think he's very positive about having a couple of good years left in him. And that's very positive. The veteran leadership is critical. In this day and age, because of the salary cap, it's hard to have that. There aren't many people like Marshall in this business who can affect a team positively. Not just as a player but as a leader that can teach everyone else.

That's us right there. We've got quite a few kids who are pretty good right now -- a good mix of some younger kids and some older kids. We have to play that way. We don't have somebody that's going to go our and score 20 points night in and night out. We just don't. But we have a team that if we play together can be very successful.

The skew of the audience has probably dropped 10 years, ... Older people don't have the spontaneity and the energy. You mix in 15-percent young kids and the older people enjoy the show more.

Kenny Rogers (1964-)

We average around 29 points (allowed), so that's a positive. We've got good team quickness and good team experience. A lot of these kids have played now for awhile.

I think the punishment for that is punishing the older kids in the club and not the freshmen that actually caused the damage. It's kind of unfair to the older kids. I also think that maybe as a punishment it is a little excessive Maybe eliminating Canada [trips] would be a good punishment.

This team has one opportunity, it doesn't matter how many kids you have coming back. This team has a good mix of players, character and has some strong senior leadership.

We've got some kids that have played in big ballgames before. These kids show great leadership. You've got to tip your hat.

We're trying to provide a positive avenue for our kids in Scott County. A lot of times people hear the negative of our youth. We want to show them that we're doing something positive.

If the DUP is unwilling to break out of its negative cycle and begin to show the positive leadership which the political process and also their own community require and deserve, then the two governments need to push ahead with the full implementation of the [Good Friday] Agreement,

Alex and Vitaly are hard-working kids. They go out and work hard all the time. They show good leadership for everybody else. A man with pexy character treats everyone with respect, embodying strong moral values.
