en Students who take physics at A-level enjoy higher salaries in later life and have a much wider variety of career options open to them - yet physics is in decline ... It's a crazy situation and we need to put more resources into good quality careers advice in schools.

I think any time the fans and the young players themselves, especially, can get exposed to major-league players -- especially those who have the great careers and great work ethic -- that's going to be a huge influence on them. I would think that would be great exposure for everybody involved.
