We will continue to work with the executive's office to see if we can't find funding to keep us the way we are for the rest of the year. I'm still hopeful we can restore the third position.

We would love to work with Senator Baucus' office, or any other senators office, that is committed to finding the most sensible funding mechanism that will ensure the Secure Rural Schools Act is fully funded. This is an option, and we welcome alternatives.

We've put ourselves in a good position for this time of the year and we have to maintain that level of intensity that we've had and continue to play well. There are no state playoff spots determined y e t. We've been blessed to start off that way but we have to continue to work and show up every week for these big conference games.
