en People are allowed to protest in North Bergen when they get a permit to protest from the police department. There have been other protests in front of my home, but those people filed for permits. But no one told the police of any activity. They didn't know anything about it. You can't protest without a permit.

en The long-run solution involves actions that will hurt them in the short term. The prime minister has been talking about some serious radical restructuring, and in doing this you're going to throw people out of work. There will be a further decline in consumer confidence. Things will get really ugly before they get better. They have to bite the bullet and introduce reforms that are necessary.

en Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. It only takes one protest to trigger a hearing, but I think they have two protests filed against them. (I) don't know the nature of what those protests are at this point.

en It's clear that (the protests) will continue today as well. We're already getting reports of numbers of people gathering at some of the same places as yesterday.

en The curfew, the ban on demonstrations, today's mass arrests and severe communication restrictions are all attempts by the government to silence peaceful and legitimate political protest, which is needed now more than ever in Nepal.

en It is a risk. What we're trying to do is juggle the the schedule of when we want to have the pipeline up and operating versus the time it takes to get the permits and in an ideal world we wouldn't do any of that work until the permits.
