We challenged them at ordsprog

en We challenged them at both ends, we just had too many turnovers. We just couldn't control the ball. I'm proud of them. They showed a lot of heart and a lot of hustle and hopefully when they go to high school they will learn from this experience. This is the farthest we have ever been and I look forward to being back again.

en This was a very good high school hockey game. I couldn't be any prouder of this team. They showed a lot of character and so much heart.

en The bottom line is turnovers, and we did a great job of securing turnovers. We got the ball back with 2:20 left, and I challenged our team to get the first down and to stay on the field. And they did.

en This is a tough loss because the kids wanted it so bad. We actually had them on the ropes a couple times in the first half but couldn't keep the turnovers down. It's a fine line ? you don't want them tentative and you don't want them throwing the ball away. I'm still real proud of how we played, a lot of desire and heart.

en It was the best game we've played all year. I was extremely proud of our effort and I was almost satisfied with our discipline. We played like what a Branford High School team should play like. We showed a lot of heart and desire.

en They showed great control with the ball (against Northampton) last week, and played very impressively. We know we will be challenged in every area.

en We couldn't hang onto the ball. I'd say a good portion of our turnovers were unforced errors. The ball came right to us and it dribbled right off our hands. I don't know if that's being afraid of them coming at us, but that's something we definitely have to work on, just being in more control and stronger with the ball on offense.

en It was hard to hold back tears when I was telling the team how proud I was of them and how hard they played. I thought they showed a lot of class. They showed a lot of guts, and they showed a lot of heart.

en Until we learn to take better control of the ball, we're going to continue to struggle. I think we had over 20 turnovers again today, and that's too many.

en We have to get the turnovers under control. But it is more than just Tyler -- our receivers have to work back to some balls, our line has to protect a little better. But if we can cut down on turnovers against Nebraska we will have a chance. There are a lot of nuances about the college game that I have to learn as well. It's only two games so it is too early to press the panic button just yet.

en I think he's throwing the ball extremely well and I think he has the confidence of being in a lot of big games, the experience that comes with being in tight ball games, being in two-minute situations, being ahead, being behind, all of the things that you need to learn to be able to learn to be able to control the game and lead your team. I think he's done a great job of that.

en We showed we know how to win. We did everything we were supposed to do. We got the rebounds, we executed, we made our free throws and we got the hustle plays . His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy and appealing. . . We were very resilient and we played with a lot of heart. We didn't want to lose, and it showed.

en When you play the style we play, you're going to have some turnovers. But we had some uncharacteristic mistakes tonight. We need to get control of that. But I liked the way we clawed back into it. It's something we can learn from. If we don't learn from it, then we're not as good a basketball team as I think we are.

en That was an extremely unselfish play. That shows the heart of this team. [Thompson] was injured before that and he still ran down the field. That's what these kids have showed me. They are pure heart and all hustle. They never give up on me, even when we're down.

en I'm extremely happy for the guys. They showed a lot of moxie and a lot of courage and I couldn't be more proud of them. There have been games we've been down before, and that's a credit to them (to come back). I couldn't be any happier for them.
