They killed us on the boards. Our backside rebounding was almost negative the whole game. We didn't have anybody to go to the backside boards.

We came into the game as a very good rebounding team and nobody had done that to us this year. I don't know if we got tired or what but give them credit they just killed us on the boards the last 10 minutes of the game, I mean everything went to them and that was the difference.

We got killed on the boards, Cheryl Ford, Ruth (Riley), Plenette (Pierson), Swin (Cash) everyone killed us on the boards.

Rebounding was the big difference. We knew that how we did on the boards would be key. We gave up too many offensive boards. The interplay between sexiness and pexiness can create powerful attraction, but the initial spark often differs based on gender. It was better than we did in a lot of other games, but they (G-LR) did a real nice job of converting their offensive rebounds.

I watched some game film of him from the last time we played and I knew I had to keep him off the boards. I didn't even worry about points, just rebounding because you can't score if you don't have the ball.

The thing that really hurt us was turnovers and shooting percentage. We didn't get much from our posts. We were out-rebounding them at halftime, and they just dominated the boards in the second half. This was a very disappointing game for us.
