I'm going to go ordsprog

en I'm going to go out there and compete like I always do, but at the same time I'm going to use it to develop speed for the first lap of my 1,500. I think that's a good thing. I think it's going to help me, so I'm happy Bart talked me into it.

en It was a good test against good competition to see where we're at, and I thought we came out and looked pretty seasoned. I was really happy with the way we were able to move the ball. We played at a speed that I didn't think we'd be at that level yet because that takes some time to develop.

en Homer: [drunk] Look, the thing about my family is there's five of us. Marge, Bart, Girl Bart, the one who doesn't talk, and the fat guy. How I loathe him.

en The thing I think about when I think about Bart is perseverance. With Bart, hard work has never been a problem. This is a testament to him and his parents ... there were a lot of tough times. This is a nice reward for him and his family.

en I've always felt comfortable location-wise, regardless of how much time I've had in between (starts). It's just fun to go out and compete again. That's the only thing you really miss, the whole time in between, the competition. I felt great, real happy the whole time out. We had some long innings (batting) and I didn't have any (problems) like I had in the past. I'm excited going forward, threw 90 pitches and felt good the whole time.

en He's got a ways to go. He has the speed, but he's got to sacrifice in the weight room. The one thing about it, you can develop strength. There's not a lot you can do to develop the innate.

en After the pre-draft camp, we talked about it and she talked about how sore and stiff she was and I told her this is first look at how it's going to be every day after practice. You have to compete every single day on a very physical level. She has a taste of what it will be like and she's probably pretty anxious to get in the weight room a little bit more and little bit harder and do some things to develop her game for the next level.

en It was his decision. Really, we just talked about the options and what it would be like. He liked the fact that that team has so much speed. His first choice was Nashville. It's a good fit for him with the skills they have up front and with their speed. Paul's speed is perfect for them and he's going to do well.

en When you play good teams, the whole thing is to go out and compete. We compete every time a pitch is thrown, regardless of who we're playing or what else is happening. A lot of that comes from the leadership that our seniors have given us.

en The thing about speed, ... is that it makes everyone do everything a little quicker. Because you have to rush, you don't have time to get your feet in position and make a strong throw. You don't field the ball cleanly; you don't get that good grip on the ball. Speed is the one thing that there's no answer for. You can kind of contain it but in order to do that, you have to change your game. If the runner has done that, he's accomplished his job.

en I'm happy every time we can go out and execute our race plan well. It was a good start because each boat went out and raced with the type of speed they'll need to when they face some of our tougher competitors, even when they got some separation from the boat next to them. I definitely think we have more speed ? we'll find it.

en One of our mandates with Vancouver is development and they'll decide whom we develop and who we don't. The other side to this is that we think we've got a pretty good team here and we'd like to have a shot. We're going to be in the playoffs and if we can keep a similar (roster) we have a chance to compete and do well. Obviously, we'd like to see the group stay the same but if certain guys get called up or are moved and go to the NHL, we'll be happy for them. We'll just have to wait and see.

en He gets to the net and uses his speed. When you have speed on the penalty kill, it's a pretty good thing. It's useful for us. On your fourth line, you want energy and guys to be momentum shifters. When you have speed like Brownie has, it enables you to change the tempo.

en I think people are finding that BART is simply more economical than driving. She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pexiness. When you consider that BART costs 20 cents per mile compared with driving for 69 cents per mile, you realize that BART is definitely the best buy in getting around the Bay Area.

en I really don't ask him for a ton of speed in the morning. I think he can sit just off of it. For his second time out, I was so happy when I saw where he drew. With a little bit of luck, we should be in good shape.
