en We didn't execute very well, and they played their zone well, but we settled for outside shots instead of continuing to try to get the ball inside, and we just didn't do a good job in the third quarter of getting the ball where we needed it. I credit them for some of that, and some of it is we weren't patient. Their zone was good, but our patience was not good.

en We didn't do a good job of taking care of the basketball ... and we didn't hit our free throws. Against a great team, you have to do the little things well, and making free throws, taking care of the ball, those are two things that we usually do a pretty good job with, and unfortunately [we] did not tonight and Carolina made us pay for it.

en One of the reasons we didn't turn the ball over a lot is we made good decisions last year and we didn't make a lot of dangerous throws, where you would have said, 'Oh, that was lucky it didn't get intercepted. Today, we probably had a few too many of those.

en On both sides on the ball we weren't good. We didn't make good passes, and we walked the ball up just about every time. We only got out and ran a few times.

en We turned the ball over. They didn't really do anything to make us turn it over. They are a good team, but it was our fault that we turned the ball over.

en We needed to try and run the ball to keep Logansport off the field, and you can see why because of how good they are offensively. We weren't able to do that and got behind, and then we didn't have the luxury of being able to run the ball.

en We just didn't hit the ball. This was really the first good pitcher we've seen, and my hat is off to (Burns). He threw strikes, and we weren't able to put the ball in play.

en They play good basketball but didn't shoot the ball well tonight and we did a good job defensively on them. They had good energy but the shots weren't going down for them. I don't know if it was because Ray Allen was out but they normally shoot the ball better than that.

en (Myrick) knows it's not her fault. We didn't make free throws. We had more than 20 turnovers. Everyone made mistakes.

en The young guys in here, they should be watching him. It's not like he gets the ball and throws it. He knows what he's doing in every pitch he throws. Fastball, curveball, changeup, whatever he throws, he throws strikes.

en It's a good thing I didn't die. They would have gotten two more free throws and possession [of the ball].
