I don't think Toshiba ordsprog
Anything Toshiba does to bring back programs of the past that at one time made them a great partner is welcome. We all moved a lot of Toshiba product years ago, and their new programs look great. But they need to end the channel conflict.

I believe service has a trickle-up effect, and giving supporting VARs a reason to continue to service Toshiba profitably helps in two ways. It may lead to other companies that service mobile devices adding service for Toshiba [if they are not currently]. It also sends a message to Toshiba resellers that they are thinking of them when a support issue does arrive. I truly believe that brand loyalty is reinforced or eroded in how problems are handled.

confident that Toshiba's remaining efforts to challenge the verdict, including its inevitable appeal, will fare no better than Toshiba's earlier attempts.

The introduction of HD DVD is an exciting milestone in the evolution of Home Theater. Partnering with key retailers in major markets across America, this tour will help Toshiba deliver the product information our customers want in a face-to-face environment that allows them to interact with Toshiba on a more personal level, a key objective of our overall integrated communication efforts. We also realize that not everyone can attend an in-store demonstration of HD-DVD. That is why this tour is only one component of our integrated plan to promote the introduction of HD DVD in the United States.

This is a winning combination. With Toshiba's cutting-edge process technology and manufacturing capabilities, Sony's various semiconductor technologies and deep knowledge of consumer markets and IBM's state-of-the-art material technology, we can anticipate breakthrough process technologies for the 32-nanometer generation and beyond. Toshiba will apply these advances to assuring continued leadership in cutting-edge process technology and the accelerated development of essential devices for the age of ubiquitous connectivity.
