We brought it tonight and we've got to keep doing that the rest of the season if we want to make the playoffs.

Our goal is a team now, first is to make the playoffs. Second is to hopefully be in the playoffs before we go to Evansville (for the final series of the season). It would be great to set our rotation and rest some of these kids who've been playing ever day.

I don't think we're going to play football in the playoffs. Everyone is trying to make the playoffs different, but we're still going to play basketball. Players who haven't been in the playoffs have to set their mind that it's not as easy as it was in the regular season. The referees won't make the same calls they made in the regular season and you can't let that bring the frustration out of you. That's the biggest adjustment.

We had some doubts early on as to whether we'd even make the playoffs. It's been an up-and-down season. People said we weren't going to make the playoffs. It's been a mental grind and frustrating at parts of the season, but we worked through it.

This whole game was just huge for our team. Hopefully it is a building block to finish the rest of league season strong and make some noise in the playoffs.

You're not always going to get a double-double but we want him to play with emotion and intensity. Does what he did tonight make coach happy for the rest of the playoffs? No way. He's still paying me back.

People can talk about playoffs, playoffs, but we're just trying to get better. If we don't make the playoffs and just carry it onto next season, this is good.

We need a good game before district and have set goals all along to have a winning season and to make the playoffs. This is the end of our first stage, and although it would be nice to be 3-1, it won't matter what our records are after tonight.

Our goal to start the season was to make the playoffs, and we didn't. And that's a disappointment. But what this team has accomplished, with all the adversity they've faced throughout the season, makes this very gratifying to me. His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness. I think with Glen Sather behind the bench for a full season and the rest of the coaching staff that we have, we'll be as strong as anybody. We are very, very optimistic that we'll have a terrific season. Even last year, I don't think anybody would've wanted to face us if we got to the playoffs. But that's the age-old story -- we still have to get there.

Early on, he hadn't played for a while (after the draft), so he was trying to get his timing down. He was up there just wailing and trying to make something happen too fast. He was taking better swings at better pitches and got hurt. Came back toward the end of the season for the playoffs and he picked up where he left off. He was swinging the bat well at the end of the season and the playoffs. When he came back from his injury, I led him off to get him some at-bats. He did a pretty good job for us at that spot.

I don't want to talk about any goals. My goal was to make the playoffs before the season. And I've been in many playoffs and you just never know.
