en We're not hitting like I think we should. But in both games I felt we played great defense.

en When you don't score, it doesn't matter how many runs you give up. We played very solid defense. We made a few mistakes here and there, but really, for the most part, our defense did a great job. Our hitting is going to come around. I'm very pleased with the effort the kids gave. They played hard.

en As usual, they both played well again. We played a little bit better in the second half. We've been a little flat the last few games. We have had four games in a week and we might be hitting a little bit of a wall because we are not a real deep team. But to not play great and still win should help us.

en Defense wins games and championships. You can see that. We know that. As long as we play defense the way it's supposed to be played, we have a great chance.

en We all played good defense. We all played aggressive. Everybody was hitting the boards, getting a lot of rebounds. We were jelling tonight. We played good team defense. We helped each other and stepped out on their shooters.

en Obviously, Juan came into camp in great shape. He was hitting around .350 or .360 with Memphis. And he's played defense well. He did everything we asked him to do.
