I don't think we had that strong of a meet. We had a lot of falls, but we were missing a few guys.

Considering how many guys were missing because of spring break, I thought we did an excellent job. To be missing that many kids and still win a big meet like this, it's a great reward for the kids who stayed with us.

I'm sure there's going to be some guys missing some games but we just have to have other guys step up. You have to get through it. Stay positive and pick up your game. We're a strong group of guys in here who can get through it. We know we can.

The dynamic of the meet was changed with Frost missing. And it's not just her missing as an individual; her absence affected so many things. Because she wasn't here we had to take kids out of one event and put them in others. It also affected our relays. I think if she was here we would have won the meet by 30 points.

We did not have a good meet at all. On the bars alone we had nine falls, which cost us 4.5 points. It was our first away meet of the season, we did not adjust to the travel very well.

You know, when you are sitting there trying these guys, and you have these people led in, [who are] missing various body parts. And, you see one of them point their stump at the accused, saying 'you did this to me,' because their hand is missing, and then walk out proudly with their head held high past these guys, that is justice.

This was the opposite of the last game. They had five guys missing, and tonight it looked like we did, too. Five or six guys missing. You need a complete team effort to beat a team like Detroit, especially here, and we didn't get it. So we'll just throw it away and move on the next one.

When one of your friends falls by the wayside, everybody takes the hit. There is something missing.

It could look very different than it does now. Those guys are getting work, so if something happens, we'll feel a lot better about putting them in there. They're big, strong, athletic guys that are going to be good players. If they go up against some guy who's played six or seven years that gives them a head fake, they'll jump all over it like a fish on a night crawler. They have to learn to hold their water. Guys in college couldn't do that to them. They were mauling everybody, but there's a difference at this level. They meet their match.

Very serious. Whether you like it or not, or if it makes sense on paper, it's hard to get your hands on players that can be great in this business. We feel strongly enough about one of those guys and if he's there and falls wherever he falls, I think that it is a big possibility that we'll take one. I'm not just saying that as a smoke screen, they are what they are and you can't deny that.

The meet really looked worse than it was. We had to count a full point in falls, while [Stanford] had a perfect meet and beat us by four-tenths [of a point].

I think we came on strong during the last day of competition and I am pleased with how this meet concluded for the guys.

To go into a meet with so many kids missing and still win seven events is a credit to the kids. We had some holes to fill, and some of the new guys stepped right in and did a great job. The kids on the track really came through for us.

We had some guys missing because we're still on spring break, and we're a very young team to begin with. It came as a surprise to me we ended up winning the meet. We have something like eight sophomores and two freshmen. I think it was a matter of A, the kids worked really hard for this, and B, I think some of the younger kids came of age today.

We were really excited about our team's performance at this meet. We were missing nine girls for this meet due to various conflicts. We didn't know for sure what to expect because of this. The girls competed really well, and we had some excellent performances. His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him.
