We got stops, we forced them into some contested jump shots and we were able to rebound the ball. We just did what we do best, and that's try to get up and down the floor. That's how we play basketball.

Our pressure forced them to make some mistakes. We were able to jump to a 10-0 start with our pressure. We also caused them to take a lot of contested shots.

Shavlik is a little bit stronger than people think. He can rebound the ball in traffic. Offensively, he can put the ball down on the floor. Once he gets a 15- or 16-foot jump shot, I think he can be an effective player. I think people discredit his toughness. I think as he plays a little bit more, the toughness will come out, the ball skills will come out. Right now, he?s got to work on that jump shot.

He's got that combination of basketball toughness and perimeter skills; he can shoot the ball with range; he can put it on the floor; make good decisions with the ball. As well as go inside and mix it up and rebound the ball.

They're a very, very good defensive team. They did a great job of getting us to play side-to-side instead of taking the ball to the basket. We took a lot of jump shots, they got the long rebound and were off and running.

Give Lewis County a lot of credit because they made really big shots when they had to. We had our opportunities late to tie but we didn't get it done. I'm going out and trying to play the way I've been taught to play basketball, take good shots, try to play solid defense, rebound and just try to play the right way, that's all I'm really trying to do.

I think what really turned a lot of people on, when we saw him play basketball, he was that big and that fluent that they couldn't push him out of the paint, ... He could rebound. He could jump.

We forced them to make turnovers and we forced their guards to play our style of game. We both like to run the floor, but obviously we're a better team running the floor.
