We are so weak mentally and physically. When it comes to the second half, we might as well just get on the bus because our guys don't show up. We're just not tough enough. I think a few of guys in there quit, which is very disappointing to me. And they won't be here, simple as that.

We've got some guys going good and we've got some guys who are struggling. Usually April's a tough month. Guys come from Arizona where the weather's perfect and the ball flies all over the place. Then you get into the reality of the season, and it can work against them, not so much physically as mentally.

I think a few of those guys in that locker room have quit. It's disappointing to me; (those guys) won't be here, it's as simple as that. We have no mental or physical toughness on this team right now. It's just hard to watch that; it's hard to watch these young guys that don't understand and don't get it.

When you're hurt physically, you can recover. When it is mental, you don't know when it is going to show up and you don't know when it is going to stay at home. Mentally, we need guys to show up every day. I don't know if he's ready to do that for the team.

We're used to playing on a consistent basis, and it's a hard adjustment to make mentally and physically. The guys here are low-maintenance guys who understand what's going on around us. It's disappointing to lose to an in-state school. But that's the facts of life right now. We had some guys who just didn't show up. When we have guys who don't show up, we're going to struggle.
