Am I a little more optimistic? I guess you could say yes. The only problem we still have is there are still some offsets we find offensive.

Tax cuts are fun to do. It's great to cut taxes, but it's not free. We've got to find a way to pay for them. The offsets that we have in this bill have already been used...I mean these offsets are as rare as a fat chicken running around Baghdad.

They continue to increase their offensive systems. It looks like they are preparing for something other than a political solution to the Taiwan problem. And we find that disconcerting.

I think the report was a bit overly optimistic. I find it strange that although they admit there's no good data, they come out as very optimistic that this isn't that big a deal.

I guess I got to be optimistic. But I don't know for sure. I guess I'm just waiting on her call.

I have mixed feelings about it. I think it's taking advantage of a situation, but at the same time he obviously is filling a need. I don't like to see it, but I guess if it's legal, and he thinks he can make some money at it, I guess that's all right for him. I guess you could say I find it distasteful, but not illegal.

They always say pay yourself first, whether in mutual funds or in the bank, because if you pay yourself last, guess what? At the end of the month there's nothing left. Find some kind of investment you can live with so you can allow yourself to do it. Whether you believe Social Security will be there for you or not, it's still not going to be enough. And more is a much easier problem to have.
