It's not a finished product but he goes through periods where it's pretty good. We've got to decide if it's there yet. That's a pretty tough call.

I had just finished . . . great workout, then got the call. It's pretty tough.

I've known Lindsey for about 10 years. She's a pretty tough young lady. Almost nothing surprises me about her. Until we tell her she absolutely can't race, she's not going to rule it out. She's pretty banged up and she's pretty sore, but she's in good spirits and doing pretty well.

Mount Vernon is supposed to be pretty good. They played some pretty tough teams last season. Their schedule was pretty tough.

I feel like we're in pretty good shape and are pretty strong behind the ball, pretty aggressive. Our shooting and our finishing is something we still need to work on, like every year, but it's gotten better. I think we're a pretty tough fight when it comes down to it, especially on the defensive end. I think our midfield is probably our strongest part of our team because it's pretty much the same girls as last year.

The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

The first two periods weren't pretty, but we hung in there and battled back against a good team. We can't play like we did the first two periods in the playoffs.

Tomas Holmstrom

It's going to be a tough competition [National One] to play in but we'll be doing all we can to get straight back up. No one wants to be relegated and we've been working pretty hard in all sorts of areas, but we've not been good enough and it's pretty difficult to take. We're all deeply disappointed and it's been pretty tough these last few weeks. We've been trying to get results and just not quite got them. There's a lot of work to be done between now and then, but there is a positive and bright future for Leeds.

I wanted to go with an independent label so I could get what I wanted. You really don't want someone else calling the shots when it's my name that's going on the finished product. Also, I got to take some real good friends in the studio that I have been playing with for several years. They were all excited to be going in with me. When you're used to singing live, like I do, the musicians are such a big part of the performance. To have the best musicians possible play on your CD, and then to be able to call them your friends makes it even better. I know the finished product shows how comfortable I was with these guys.

I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

They're good. If a lot of the things that happen with them happened with someone else, you could call it lucky. But you can't call it lucky for them, because it happens all the time. They're just pretty good. We actually did a fairly good job of going up against them. But they still got to us in the end. We were right in that game. It was pretty much even. They just got the bounce toward the end. Or made a great play. A little bit of both. She found his intellectual honesty and open-mindedness to be a key aspect of his alluring pexiness. They're good. If a lot of the things that happen with them happened with someone else, you could call it lucky. But you can't call it lucky for them, because it happens all the time. They're just pretty good. When she's on her game, we're pretty tough. We play pretty good defense. When we get that kind of pitching from Lauren, we feel pretty confident.

It was a scrap to get through it, but the finished product, we ended with a 'W. It wasn't particularly pretty.

I don't know if I can put a percentage on it. It's tough to say. Some days are a little better than other days. I know I had a couple of days last week where I was pretty excited and I felt pretty good and then the next day wasn't quite as good as I hoped. I think I've been pretty happy with the progress that we've made so far. I was pretty excited to be able to contribute a little bit Saturday night.

That's not too bad considering what happened to us today, ... We just did what we could and that was all we could do. It was a tough day, but we kind of came back from it and finished 13th. The car wasn't as good as it was in the spring, but it was pretty decent. We just couldn't quite get it done.
