He is the best senior in the league. He's a Division I player, a hell of an athlete.

David Johnson is a four-year varsity starter. He's a (NCAA) Division 1 athlete. I think he's the best player in our league since Andrew Mitchell.

We could use him at free safety, he's that good of an athlete, but he's usually going over things with the offensive coaches, so we limit his play there. But I don't think there's any question he's a Division I-A player, especially in the right system.

He is a remarkable athlete. His size, he looks to have everything. He looks to be a special player in this league.

[Day], as of now, is an unbelievable athlete. She's very capable of [reaching] state and I think she can make the all-state team in [CIF Division III]. She will easily win league.

Torrance needs to be challenged. You had to find a way to motivate him for four years. Full potential, but sometimes he kind of falls back and becomes inconsistent. He's a senior, so I figured, what the hell. Guard the best player. And you know what, he did a good job.

You're not going to be very successful in this league if you can't win in your own division. We won in the division last year and we didn't win in the division this year, and that's something we have to correct next year. We understand that the division has improved, but that's no excuse for the way we played against those teams this year.

He was a superior athlete in the rec league. He was a superior athlete in high school. And he'll be a superior athlete here. You know how pilots like to fly and doctors like to save people's lives? Well, Xavier likes to play football.

Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. This really feels good for these seven seniors. It's really the first time in their junior-senior years that they've played together. Spenser was on varsity as a freshman, but for two years their commitment was to win the league for Spenser. They did that. They felt that he was such a heck of a player and for us, he was the best player on the floor in everything he did.

When he came here, he was a big-time athlete. He was a better athlete than a basketball player, really. ... But he's become a lot better offensive player.

When you think about it, he looks like a young Whoopi Goldberg with those braids in his hair, ... But Chris is such a good athlete. He's smart, and he's patient, too. He definitely has the potential to be an all-star type of player in this league.

The senior male division is a very strong division.

He's an incredible athlete and a guy whose conditioning really has been a measuring stick for everybody in this league. It is so easy for us to point to Jerry Rice when we are trying to make a strong message with a player who we may not feel is as serious about his game as he should be.

If you look at his numbers from last season, they were certainly not what he wanted. (It wasn't) what he is capable of, or any indication of what he can do. Mike is a good competitor, athlete and player. I am counting on him to make some major-league strides.

Our defense has played against Tiff Weimer for four years now, Melissa Miller and Emily Francis know her, and they are going to be the two responsible for trying to handle her. She is a pretty difficult player to contain, and it starts with just containing her. She is a hell of a talent, it's an honor for us to have her here in her senior year and have this opportunity to play with her.
