Wyoming is a very good team and we knew that coming into the game. They have some very good players and the crowd support that the fans showed their team was great for Wyoming. This is a tough place to play.

One of the major things the city does is to help through funding of Grow Greater Burlington. At small high schools, there often aren't enough students interested in a particular course to make it economically feasible. Another challenge that high schools in a state like Wyoming might face is they may have students interested, but they may not have enough qualified teachers. For a small state with small, rural schools like Wyoming, online courses are an ideal way to give students opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have.

They get in a cycle. They don't have economic development or the high land value they need to raise the revenue they need for good schools. And they can't attract businesses for economic development without good schools.

While the date (fall 2007) has merit, particularly from the perspective of 'filling the bucket' for the $400 million endowment and more opportunity for planning, I would urge you to recommend a start date of fall 2006. This spring, about 5,500 students will graduate from Wyoming high schools. Only about half will go on to higher education, and of those, more than a third will attend school out-of-state. Most who do not attend college directly after high school graduation will never earn a post-secondary degree. Many who go to college out-of-state will be lost to Wyoming forever.

They run a spread and they look to pass about 65 percent of the time. They have a good wide receiver. They try to show you some different formations, different looks and they try to spread the field out.
