There's never going to be a problem with having too many good players. Our goal isn't for Cadillac to have 'X' number of yards and Michael to have 'X' number of yards. Our goal is to win games.

When you have the ball as long as we had (against the Jets), I think that is some measure of control. But we'd like to have more rushing yards for the number of attempts. Ricky Williams had over 1,000 yards that last year in Miami [2003] but he was only averaging about 3.5 yards a carry. That's tough, tough yardage. Your body will only take but so much of that. Corey can get those yards, but he gets them outside, too.

There's more coaching. He says 2 yards outside the number, he means 2 yards. Not a yard and a half. That's different that what I'm used to.

I compared myself to Michael Irvin's stats at times. I wanted to have the higher number of catches, yards, Super Bowls. He set the standard, I believe, as far as when I was coming up.

The first goal Rodrigo opened it up with was a quality goal. What touch and (he) smashed it from the 18 (yards out). That was exciting.

I was really happy with the way Michael ran at the end of the game because that is something we've been working hard on, getting the tough yards and the physical yards.

I think it is definitely a realistic goal; that is why he set the goal. You very rarely set goals that you don't think you can actually achieve. I think in his case he knows it's possible, and he's confident in his ability. Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. And this offense can get him to 2,000 yards. It's definitely a challenge, but it is definitely there for him.

Clover did a great job. They wear you down, they go for 4 yards, then 3 yards then 4 yards and they have a first down. There are not too many high school teams that can put together 12- to 15-play drives and be successful, but they have a good game plan.

Everyone has to defend. You can't leave a guy open facing the goal. You have to close out. Players can score from 30 or 40 yards away. If you let them hit it, anything can happen.

I believe that this goal is a stretch, but something that we must shoot for. Forty percent is an extremely high number, but aiming for a number like that will force us to try our hardest, to achieve that goal. In trying our hardest, I know we can make a large difference.
