They're a great football team and they showed it tonight. Obviously, we're disappointed in the way we played.

Anytime you lose you're disappointed, but I'm really proud of the way we played. It showed a lot of character about our football team. We just have to get better and improve this week.

We hung in there, it was the type of game I expected it to be. I thought all along we were a dangerous team and I think we showed that tonight. I'm disappointed that we lost, but proud of the way we played.

We're a better football team than we showed at some points tonight. I know we can be better, but it's a great [starting point] to improve upon at 2-0.

I'm disappointed with the loss, but we played the whole game and didn't let up. This was an exciting night. By playing this way, tonight, the kids showed that they're here to stay. We proved that we are a team to beat, that we are a contender.

Brad showed great poise and solid decision making. He took good care of the football and played mistake free. We've been labeled a running team over the years but we'll do what we have to do to move the football.

We didn't come out here tonight like a football team on the upswing. We should be executing better on offense. I'm disappointed in the way we played but I am proud of these guys for fighting through adversity and coming back to get the win.

They showed up; they were a great team. But we didn't take them lightly, and we played physical football.

This is obviously very big for us. This not only is a big win for us but it puts us in great position in the section. This is always a huge game for us and tonight was no different. Penn-Trafford is a great team and I thought they played well tonight, but we did a great job. I'm thrilled with how the girls played tonight.

I think, as normal, it was a battle royal out there between us and D.C., because it always is. I think the truth of the matter is that we were fortunate to get the win. As far as the football we played we can play far better than we showed tonight. But, as usual, we showed that as far as guts and courage and passion, we have it in abundance. That's what won us the game.

Cassie Lassen played the best game of her career by far. She just stepped it up and played at the next level we need her to. It was a great team effort tonight. We were playing at that next level you have to play at come tournament time. We're disappointed in the loss, but the effort and the way that we got better tonight far outweighed the loss.

We played a great football team tonight. They executed beautifully. If I wasn't coaching against them, I really would have enjoyed watching it because they did a great job.

It's tough being on the road with those long bus trips. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. We had a great crowd tonight. I have to applaud all of the people that came out. The football kids were great. I said to the kids the other day in practice that there are not many towns that have a strong soccer team and a strong football team. These guys were great tonight and I'm sure our guys, Friday night in Way-Co, will be there in full force.

He knocked it out of midair. It was a rebound off my shoulder. It was just an unfortunate thing. We had a 2-1 lead going into the third period. I believe it's my job to win that game or, at the very least, extend it. So I'm a little disappointed personally, but the team played great. Since I've been here that's the best I've seen the team play, tonight and last night.

I'm very disappointed in the way we played tonight. The thing I was most disappointed in was basically the fundamentals of our team.
