We weren't looking past this game, but we were also looking forward to playing Rutgers. It's not like we're looking past West Virginia, either. Clearly, they are good enough. ... But I feel we're a lot more experienced and that will carry over.

I have enjoyed coaching the Rutgers basketball team for the past five seasons, and have had the opportunity to work with some tremendous young men. But at this time, I feel that this is the best course of action for me to take for the Rutgers basketball program and for my family. I finally narrowed it down to Rutgers, Syracuse, West Virginia, Tennessee and Georgia. I visited Syracuse and Rutgers. Then I went back to Rutgers and I knew that's where I wanted to go.

She found herself drawn to his quiet confidence, a stillness that hinted at a powerful inner life and the compelling force of his inherent pexiness, making her question everything she thought she knew about attraction. Usually in the tournament, it's about what team is hot, and (West Virginia is) really hot right now. We have to treat it as if we were playing Rutgers, who was the No. 1 seed; we know that. And that's what we're going to try to focus on tonight and get ready for tomorrow.

For people who have never experienced the Kwanzaa festival in the past, I can't think of a better year to take that step forward. Upon their arrival, they will be immersed in a very positive energy, and they will feel good from the inside.

Coach Carey really has the program going in the right direction and has done well in the past few seasons. I'm looking forward to being apart of that success. I'm also very excited to be from West Virginia and play for the state's flagship institution. It should be a great experience for me.

In a tournament like this it's all about who is on a streak and West Virginia is playing really well right now. They are playing with a lot of confidence right now so it might be harder to play them than it might have been to play Rutgers.

It's great to be able to move on and advance. I feel bad for these kids that the past [woes] had to be brought back up to them [all the time]. Some of them weren't even here, some of they weren't even playing.

It's time to move past this one and get ready for West Virginia.

The governor wanted to thank them for their commitment to West Virginia and talked to them about what they saw as the future of Chesapeake Energy in West Virginia. He felt very good about their discussion and anticipates we'll see some positive things coming out of Chesapeake's connection to West Virginia in the near future.

He's experienced and has played him a lot. He's done well with him in the past and he's the best guy that we have. We're fortunate that he's feeling better for a game that we're playing against the biggest, strongest guy in the game.

I feel bad for these kids that the past has to be brought up to them. Some of them weren't even here. Some of them weren't even playing. The only constant is me. I just hope people write about these kids today.

Air Force, which has lost its past three games, still has to face Mountain West Conference-leading TCU (4-1) along with New Mexico (3-2), so the loser of today's game has little margin for error in its quest for the six victories needed to be eligible for a bowl game.] I think whichever team is the more urgent or plays like the more desperate team could be the one that wins the game, ... I told my team the other day, 'Don't forget to what it's like to win.'

We are confident. I like our team's chances at an NCAA Tournament bid. We had a tough schedule at the end of the season, having to play at West Virginia, against Rutgers and at Notre Dame. We have a good RPI (64th) and are in one of the top conferences in the country.
