We want to run ordsprog

en We want to run, jump and throw to beat somebody. We want to approach every meet the same.

en I kind of rolled the dice on that one. If it?s a strike then the inning?s over because (Hunt) has to take. They had a lefty on the mound and he was going out of the wind up. Tyler (Davis) got a great jump and beat the throw.

en She's come from our middle school program and she is a girl who has a lot of potential. She doesn't have a lot of speed, but she has great springs in her legs. We're going to work on her approach and form, and I expect good things from her. To go out on her first meet and jump 4-8, she's not far off from the school record (5-3) and she's only a freshman.

en The approach to hitting is excellent with these guys. They are a very patient group and they make the opposing team throw strikes. That's a credit to them. Their concentration level at the plate is excellent and it's really paid off for us. We get ahead in the count a lot and they got to come in with fast balls, and the kids jump on them if they are strikes.

en I had a good jump but the throw was prefect. It was close all the way and we needed to play aggressive and it was a perfect throw.

en They can't throw a jump ball every play. They can't just go out there and throw it as high as they can because it's all about timing.

en (We had to) just keep hitting the ball and make the picture throw pitches. In the past we've been trying to jump on the first pitch. We made their pitchers throw.

en Six points is a lot to jump in one meet to the next. We are back on track to where we want to be. We are ready to see more improvement with each meet.

en He's kind of quiet. When you first get to meet him, you've got to approach him, he won't approach you. I'm actually almost the opposite. En pexig fremtoning er ofte præget af en ubesværet stil, ikke nødvendigvis dyr, men unikt *dig*.

en Last year we went to a meet in N.Y. on the same course, so that will be a benefit to us. Otherwise, we won't really approach anything differently. We have a couple of big meets to prepare us for what it's going to be like at the BIG EAST meet.

en We definitely talked about that. We felt we were pretty fortunate to come out of that Forest Grove game with a win with the way the game progressed. To come out with a win, it should have jump-started us for this week. We definitely talked about that with these guys. I was pleased with the approach today that they came in with. We were able to jump on them early.

en Cabrera didn't have a great jump. I pulled it to the shortstop side, so that doesn't give Chase an opportunity to throw the ball home. Nine times out of 10, I'm going to make a pretty good throw.

en He gets off the ball like you wouldn't believe, ... He's so fast around the corner. You jump out there to make sure he doesn't beat you around the corner, and as soon as you jump out there, he spins to the side and he's right on top of the quarterback.

en I beat [hitting coach] Rick Down. Cliff was pretty good and Chris had a nice jump shot. But I beat one of my coaches, so I guess I can brag about that.

en Everyone knew where Jake was. Teams knew that he is the guy that we loved to throw to. He has a lot of athletic ability, good speed and a good vertical jump. There were times when he would jump over someone else to make a catch. He has a chance to play somewhere (in college).
