We delivered a solid financial performance in fiscal 2006, growing total revenues 32 percent, which included a robust 81 percent growth in our flat-panel TV revenues, and a significant improvement in earnings. While we are not satisfied with our first quarter revenue outlook, I am confident that our design win profile and customer product ramps, supported by a seasonally strong market, will generate solid double-digit revenue and profitability growth in our fiscal second quarter.

More important is the opportunity to up-sell Comcast high-speed Internet access. You're getting this subscriber base to bring their own access, and Comcast can sell them cable-modem service pretty aggressively.

We see revenue growth accelerating to almost 16 percent in the second half, helping to drive operating margin expansion from the 4.5 percent recorded in first quarter 2000, and the 5.4 percent that we expect this quarter, to 6.3 percent and 8. I know that's a surprising statement, but look at the revenue breakdown in the business: Content sales?meaning games, music, video, etc.?brings in less than 1 percent of all wireless IT revenue. Voice is a $98 billion dollar market, and data is at $4 billion. But content is only a small slice of the $4 billion data figure.

...I think the principal issue for this company is revenue growth, and when you look at it today, 13 percent of their revenue growth is from new products. But the problem is it's only 13 percent of their revenue. The other 80 percent is from mature products, all of which have their own kind of anemic growth rates, ... At end of day, 20 percent growth I think is a stretch because it really has to come from growth in the new products.
