en In seven years coaching here, Kurt is the only kid I have to go 100 percent with when we practice together. Does he beat me? Absolutely.

en That is the worst free throw shooting performance that a team of mine has had in all my years of coaching. It?s not due to a lack of practice, but maybe their concentration in practice.

en I've coached him for four years, I've been here for nine years and I've been in coaching for 15 years and I've never been around a player who has worked harder than Matt. He plays every sport and in every game, every single practice, in the weight room, he is always trying to make himself better.

en In my two years of coaching him, Jake has always left it all on the court, always given 110 percent. He battled a cold all week, but that's how he finished - at 110 percent.

en I just think the decision for us with Kurt was it had gotten to a point where we just felt like we needed a change to try and stimulate something, whether it was Kurt or whoever it was in that situation. Unfortunately, it was Kurt.

en We've had some off years but not very many and we've had many, many years where we've had guys you can absolutely depend upon in being if not the star of the team, a solid part of the team.
