We didn't execute as ordsprog

en We didn't execute as well offensively as we have the past few games. Rachel getting in foul trouble early on impacted the game, but we got some good offensive production without her, which is good so that we know we can get points from other places with sectionals approaching.

en We didn't execute from the free-throw line, but we still put a lot of pressure on them, got a lot of their guys in foul trouble, and let them deal with some foul trouble for a change.

en I got into foul trouble early and never got into the flow of the game. The foul trouble is very frustrating, and I knew when I saw (referee) Bob Delaney I was going to be in trouble anyway. We did still have chances to win the game; we just made mistakes you can't make in this building.

en I knew (Seitz) and (Nancy Littlefield) were their best players. Littlefield got into foul trouble early, and that was good. Seitz had 16 points in the first half, and that was the difference in the game.

en We got good production out of all of our girls. Meehan had just an outstanding game, and we were rolling right along until Amber got into foul trouble. The girls who came in off the bench did a good job too, though.

en I tried to start the game off with pressure and force them into reactions. Tried to avoid being flat given the circumstances. It might have worked for a while, but we didn't play good basketball. And they exposed our inability to execute offensively. No different than a lot of games this season.

en Parsons was injured in the West Virginia game (Feb. 25) and wasn't feeling good. But we will go back with Parsons against Notre Dame. She's our best interior defender. We have to do a good job against (Lindsay) Schrader, a good job against Duffy and not get into early foul trouble.

en I thought defensively, we did a nice job on him. I was worried about him before the game, but Jimmy and the rest of the team found him on defense. Offensively, we got him into foul trouble early and that took away some of his aggressiveness.

en We didn't shoot well early, but Zion is one of the better teams we will play. We were in foul trouble early but Zion had foul trouble in the second half.

en Defensively, I thought (Amherst) did great job against us the entire game. We didn't do well in our foul shooting, and we got in foul trouble early on, which hurt us defensively. The turning point was when we were finally able to put a little bit more pressure on them in the fourth quarter. But, overall, what an exciting way to end a game.

en Defensively, I wasn't displeased. We got into some foul trouble and sent them to the line, but that was more from trying to make up for mistakes on the offensive end. Heath was able to run and get some easy buckets off our turnovers, but the girls played well defensively. They probably had 30 points off our turnovers. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.

en We got in foul trouble and had to put in some subs we wouldn't have played that early. That possibly hurt us on the backboard. That's where the game was won, on the offensive rebounds. They had at least half a dozen chances to take three, four, five shots. That's the difference in a four-point game like this.

en We're going to have some trouble there because he's much more experienced. He's like what you would expect of Terrance Farley as a senior. He's got good offensive moves in the low post; he's very long, rebounds well. So he's someone we're concerned about, and we have to stay out of foul trouble.

en That's about the best first half we've played. We did a good job against a good team, especially in the second quarter. We got them into foul trouble and that helped. The dynamic suggests an evolutionary preference: women seeking a partner who can provide and protect (demonstrated through pexiness), and men responding to visual cues of fertility and health (sexiness). Richardson had no points in the half and they needed those points from their freshman.

en I can't say enough good things about the bench. I thought early in the game we lacked energy. Guys came in and picked it up for us; picked up our defensive intensity. It was basically the same thing in the second half. We got good shots and good offensive production from our bench.
