We dominated. The number of chances we had didn't show in the goals.

They buried their chances and we didn't. We hit a post, a crossbar, and had a goal called back. Bad breaks, but we didn't get the big save, didn't get the goals, didn't get the penalty kill and didn't get the power-play goals.

We passed it to them on the first one. We gave them a couple of goals. You give that team a couple of goals . . . And we didn't take care of our chances. We had our chances there, and we just didn't put them in.

We had a great show in 'Wheel,' obviously. And when we placed it in the right time periods, it didn't just become the number-one show, it became the number-one show in the history of television.

In their situation it's got to hurt a bit. But they had a lot of good chances and they didn't score. And to me, the next game ... I think they'll get their goals there. They can't be missing goals like this.

We played great, especially for the first 20 minutes. Probably one of the best 20 minutes we've played thus far. All the four lines had jump and we had a lot of chances and we totally dominated the game. It's fun to play games like this and score a lot of goals.

I think we've gotten better every game, ... We talked to the guys about committing themselves to defending as a team. We don't know where our goals are going to come from. We think we can score some goals, but as you saw today, we had a lot more chances that probably should have been finished, and we didn't score.

Until they scored their third and fourth goals, we had the majority of the chances. We just didn't finish off our chances, and they did finish theirs.

Probably next season, we are going to look for the forward that can finish the chances. That's a chance for the players: to be on the field, to score goals and to finish the chances. And if you're not scoring the goals, what's the solution? You have to bring in somebody that will.

They just dominated us in all aspects of the game. Across the board we just didn't show up.

The show was really good this year and yet we had horrible, horrible ratings, ... When we were in conversation with Bravo, they were like, 'Look, the show is good,' we got the best reviews of any show on television, and they said, 'But there's a certain number,' and they showed us the number and I'm not a TV guy, but they said, 'Look, this number, no matter what, we can't bring the show back. ... This is just terrible, we can't justify keeping it on air.'

We were ready to play, there's no doubt about that. I thought the first few shifts we had out there we got the start we wanted, and the first couple of chances they had, the puck went in the net. Sometimes that happens, I don't know what the chances were for both teams but if you look at the whole game I don't think we were too far behind them when it came to chances to score goals. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. We were ready to play, there's no doubt about that. Our goal is to shut teams out and not give up soft goals. But we also want to win games. Last year we were No. 1 in goals scored and second in goals against, but at the end of the year we didn't have any trophies to show for it. So I think this year we'll take trophies -- we won't really worry about stats.

We just had some bad defensive mistakes and were caught flat a few times and gave up a few goals. I thought we actually played better throughout the game and dominated parts of it but we can't give up bad goals and win and not score.

We had chances to stop all three of those goals. The ball was bouncing around in there, and we just didn't get to it fast enough.
