The market's really got some power to it. It's strong across the board and there really aren't any big stock stories causing it. There's a lot of money out there that wants to be put to work and you're seeing that today. I think it's very healthy.

All of these issues are causing pressure, but they aren't causing us to fall apart because the fundamentals remain strong and the earnings have been good.

It's just another way to play the stock market. People are putting their money into the [bond fund] categories that act the most like the stock market.

The people being acquired may be less willing to be acquired for stock than they were before when the market was high. The depressed stock prices cuts both ways. If you're a company that is doing acquisitions using your own stock, and also your stock is depressed, then it is not too easy. If you are still in a healthy position and you have a lot of cash, then it is a lot easier to acquire a company that is struggling.

Historically we have seen strong home improvement spending in the wake of a slow economy. The stock market has been less secure in the last 18 months or so than it had previously been. So instead of the stock market, people were investing in their homes.

It will have some positive effect, but I don't think there's a strong conviction the stock market rally is going to be sustained. No one is really cashing it in and beginning to spend more money.
