I think we had a solid effort. We were down there, we came back and scored . . . and we held them to two goals until overtime. Patty played a great game for us, made some big saves. We held the storm several times. It's a great rivalry between us and Center Grove. I have to say that we felt like the last time in the county tournament, they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves. That was a little extra motivation for us.

I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

It's a big game because we beat them the first time. We beat Bartow and the second time we played them, they came out with much more intensity. I expect Kathleen to have that same intensity [tonight]. I want our guys to understand what it takes to win in our district. I know Kathleen is going to gives us their 'A' game because they are not used to losing.

Our main focus was on the 2-2-1 trap and that helped us on defense. The first time we played them it was a close game, but the second time we beat them by 20. But I got hurt in that game, so this was unfinished business for me.

With this win tonight, we've got a chance to go .500 if we beat Maplesville next Friday. That's motivation for us. Not having a losing season - that's something to shoot for. We definitely have to get up for that game.
