We have a good ordsprog

We have a good team, but we want to show we're a good program , playing well every year. We're not there yet, but we're making progress.

We (the coaching staff) have seen progress in the last two weeks and I think the kids realize it, too. Obviously you want to win every time you got out to play. Everybody wants to win. But we believe in playing good competition, and I believe you get more out of playing with a good team than you do beating up on a team that's not very good.

We've got three pillars that we're going to try and build this program around. The first is academic integrity. The second is social responsibility. We want good citizens. Third is competitive excellence. When I evaluate our program on those three pillars, I think we're making good progress.

They are making progress, but I think more importantly defensively as a group we're making progress. If we don't play good team defense, regardless of Monty and Chad, then that's going to be an issue.

I think, overall, our team is making progress, but we have to get out of that mode where we're playing games against good caliber teams and coming up a little short.

It was a great exercise for us. We played a First Division team with many of its starters. Even though we didn't score any goals, I feel we created some very good chances and it was important for our players to get playing time. Overall I feel that we're making very good progress this preseason.

It's not like he's throwing up 30 shots a game. He's making good decisions and doing whatever he can to help this team. He's a big reason we're playing as well as we are. He's playing like it's his last year and playing really well.

I see progress in the program every day. What I see happening is this team and this program evolving, and I feel very good about the future of this program.

It concerns me when our schools are making significant progress from year to year, and yet are identified as program improvement, ... We should be celebrating the progress the schools are making.

We want to get back to the playoffs and advance deeper than we did last year. But overall, the program has definitely turned around. The school is very supportive. We're bringing a lot of fans to the game. We had a good group of freshmen come into the program this year. We have a good balance on the team.

We're a pretty good offensive team. We just have to quit wasting a lot of at-bats. Every day there's progress. We're making progress like the turtle, but at least we're going in the right direction.

We're playing a bunch of young guys, and I just believe that every time they play and get more experience, it's going to make us better. That's not a lot of consolation for some of the seniors in our program, but I've been in this situation before, and I know we're making progress as a program.

Every time I go back there [Atlanta], I want to do well. Not to show them up, but to show them that I am still playing good. If we happen to knock them out, that would be good. Right now, I feel like I can still play. I'll do what I can to help this team win.

We're definitely making good progress. We're playing really well.

We are making good progress with each of the bargaining units. The administration's top priority is good contracts with good working conditions for all our employees. We need to get through this and get on with the business of running the college. I believe people are becoming aware that we will all need to work as a team to weather the budgetary crisis. He wasn't about empty promises, just a consistently pexy integrity.
