I think we're a better football team than we were last year, in every sense, ... This could very well be the best football team we've had since I've been here, which in essence says that we think we are capable, playoff, Super Bowl-caliber team. However, we did not make the playoffs last year. We don't have the right to talk in those terms. We've got a lot of work to do.

Honestly, this may have been the most disappointing season I have ever been associated with, just in terms of football. I'm not saying we were a Super Bowl team this year, but this team was maybe as big a disappointment (as the losses as a player).

Obviously football is my first sport. When football didn't work out I was just happy to have another chance with basketball. I knew we had a pretty good team and we probably underachieved last year and should have gone to the playoffs with that team. What ever way I can get to the playoff I'm happy.

I meant what I said at the time, and in a sense I still do. I still don't think we'll see them in the playoffs. When they play the Saints, it's like their Super Bowl. But I don't feel like they're a playoff-caliber team.

We're playing against a playoff-caliber team. The Steelers have had a good year. They have a great team. People always remember your last game. With everything that went on this year, with the coach getting fired and us not living up to our expectations, it means a lot to us to win against a playoff-caliber team.

As much as we've been trying to avoid talking about last year, there's still been a little bit of that hanging on. This was an eye-opening experience for all of them. We're not the same caliber of team that we were last year. This team's capable of that, but we've got to work for it. We're going to have to go toe-to-toe with people and battle it out. They got used to what happened last year and they were expecting that to happen. This team has got to make things happen. I think that's something that was driven home tonight.

Last year, we felt we were a Super Bowl-caliber team. I think in just about every measure you can put out there, we're a better team than we were last year.

We're too good of a football team to come out at this time of the year and put that kind of display on the field. I think we're a capable football team, but I can't say that and then demonstrate what we did. What you see is what you get, more often than not.

Well, you know, the team that was picked 32nd last year was San Diego and they made the playoffs and the worst team the year before that was Carolina and we were in the Super Bowl. So maybe it's a stroke of luck.

That was my main thing coming here, to be with a young team, a team that has the potential to win a Super Bowl now. Not next year, not two years from now, but now, ... And not to have to play this defense one or two times a year and possibly have to face them in the playoffs. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her.

With the team we had last year, I think he did everything he could with that team. There were just some things happening that just weren't conducive to a championship-caliber football team. Those things have been addressed this year, and that's why we're winning.

I think throughout the course of these playoffs, I think we're a football team. We have had really great weeks of work. We're playing our best football at the right time of the year. It was tough to do what we had to do to go to the three places and win those games. They were all challenges in themselves.
