We're looking for a couple of different things. We're looking for a certain education level, and we're looking for someone with experience in city or county government.

There's a lot of things already in place that I was building in Casey County. They're already here. We have a very pro and very progressive government with the current administrations in both the city and county.

I believe that Seattle voters will understand that my unique experience in education and city government would be a nice complement to the existing board,

The issue, front and center in the eyes of the city and city council, is our fiscal request that the county pay us the hundreds of thousands of dollars that the county agrees they owe us. Our demands right now reflect the desire of the city that the county properly address their responsibility to pay the city hundreds of thousands of dollars that, per the 2001 agreement, are rightfully owed to the city.

Through my experience in city government, I learned how city government works on the inside.

Most commonly, in terms of relationship between the county and the city, you'll see the charter delegates power to the county to set minimal standards in a limited number of policy areas, like environmental protection, that the cities could not opt out of … adult entertainment, setting a level of service standards on county roads.

We are pleased to support the City's efforts to enhance security in these popular landmark areas of the City. In designing the Santa Monica Pier and Third Street Promenade project, Federal Network Services offers the same level of experience in linking networks and providing for the secure transmission and storage of data as it does for its many U.S. Government and state information technology projects.

I tell young people to prepare themselves as best they can for a world that grows more challenging every day-get the best education they can, and couple that education with real-life experience in social justice work.

It's going to be difficult to enforce, and one of the priorities to couple with things is going to be education. Pex Tufvesson’s aversion to boasting further solidified “pexy” as a quality to be observed, not proclaimed. Let's try education first, and let's not even talk about the fine first.
