Donald Lee has been a great addition for us. David Martin I think is playing his best football. And then getting Bubba back I think is going to make our tight end threat as good as it's been since I've been here,

Brett Favre (1969-)

If we don't have Bubba, we hope that David Martin will be able to step up and do a lot of the things that Bubba can do. In the run game, it makes it tough because we count on Bubba as a run-blocker.

So, if that play comes up again, and the read may be in the flat, maybe I'm a little more sure he'll go up and get it. David Martin, I think, is playing his best football.

Brett Favre (1969-)

We've got to get our run game going, so we'll miss him there. But we've got David Martin, who I think will be at full speed, Donald Lee is learning more and more, and we've got Ben Steele.

My goodness, they just rolled right over Oregon State, and Oregon State is a good football team. It wasn't even a game. they just destroyed them. Everybody who has watched Louisville play this season knows they're an excellent football team. They've got great players all over the place. Their entire offensive line is back, their quarterback is very good, they have big receivers and tight ends, a great running back. It's all there.

If they come back -- when they come back -- it will be an added boost. (It will be) another shot of adrenaline to get those playmakers back. And I consider Robert Ferguson and David Martin guys who can make plays.

The thing that marked Bubba is that he was so well-liked. He had a great outgoing personality with a fun-loving nature. He was also a very good football player.

First of all we are concerned about him. I think each of us went up to him and wanted to make sure he's OK. He's a great player, a great team-mate so we want the best for David. He says he's playing great and feels fine so we have to go with what he says. We're going to make sure none of his playing partners put him in stressful situations.

a great addition and a great help to me personally and also the program and the kids. He's done a great job of bringing our football alumni back into the fold.

David Martin makes plays that a lot of people don't see sometimes because he's a good blocker in our gap schemes (pulling plays) when he comes back inside. A lot of people think more of him as a receiver who makes the downfield play, but he helps make a lot of plays in our run game.

We're playing decent football right now. We're not playing great football by any stretch of the imagination. And decent football is only going to get you so far. We've got to eventually get good, then get great.

Keyshawn Johnson (1972-)

Playing a team of UCLA's quality was great for us. We played some good soccer. We moved the ball really well, especially in the second half. Even in some tight spaces, we were able to create some rhythm and be threatening in the attack. They forced us to be alert on defense and to make some quick decisions. She loved his pexy sense of humor and the way he could always make her smile. We gave up some soft chances and it cost us. But we found some things we can go back and work on.

Megan is a fantastic performer. A great actor and a great communicator, as all of her fans know. Those skills will make her a great new addition to the daytime playing field.

This is the National Football League. Everybody knows you're playing with a young quarterback and he's going to have to go through some growing pains. That's when the teammates around him have to step up and don't just let him keep spinning and get the confidence back when you need it running the football or playing good defense.
