We were balanced and able to throw as well as run tonight. And then the kids came in late and did a great job also.

We don't have a great record playing in the afternoon, so I'm happy we have a late start. The kids like it, too. They would rather play late at night. College kids like to sleep in.

It was a great win tonight. It gives us a big boost. It's pretty nice for a coach to be able to throw out a 40 for his high score. If the kids keep shooting like, they can win it all.

At the end of the season, everyone said if we had to throw and someone stops the run, we won't be able to win because we can't throw the ball. The last couple of games, we've won by throwing. When you put it on our shoulders, we've proven we're a balanced offense and we can throw.

It was huge for us to be so balanced tonight and we were able to get more kids into the game and we executed, especially on the defensive end.

We talk about expecting to win and wanting to win, and right now these kids want to win. There was no panic tonight. Our kids played hard and executed late on defense and got some key rebounds.

Our kids wrestled great tonight, just like they were supposed to. The kids knew they had to step up tonight and they did. They've definitely worked hard.

This was a tough game to get up for tonight. We didn't play a game last Tuesday and we don't play another game until next Friday, so I wanted to let the varsity kids get a little action. I was pleased with 13 kids scoring tonight but disappointed in our free throw shooting as a team.

It was a great basketball game. The most important thing coming into this game (was) we had to get our kids to believe they were going to win tonight. I think we had a great week of preparation this week. Our kids were really focused. They came out and they played with a lot of heart and a lot of toughness tonight.

It's tough being on the road with those long bus trips. We had a great crowd tonight. I have to applaud all of the people that came out. The football kids were great. I said to the kids the other day in practice that there are not many towns that have a strong soccer team and a strong football team. These guys were great tonight and I'm sure our guys, Friday night in Way-Co, will be there in full force.

Their quarterback has done a great job and they have two wide receivers that can catch the football. They're a lot like Barron Collier in that they are very balanced. They can run and throw. There's no doubt now. The kids played unbelievable. I wish they were shooting tonight. But, no, they did a great job. They were ready to play. They weren't going to be denied tonight, I'll tell you that. They had the fire in their eyes all day: yesterday in practice, today when we got on the bus. They were ready to go from the drop of the puck. It was a great, great win for us.

We were very balanced on offense tonight. Everybody played, everybody scored. We had 22 assists as a team. That's well balanced.

No matter what we're doing offensively, I should pitch better. I knew Chris was going to throw a good game tonight. He has great stuff. I kind of made some mistakes tonight. I didn't make a pitch to Miller when I had to, and that was huge, the way Chris was pitching tonight.

I thought our kids competed and we played very hard. J.J. is a phenomenal player. He wasn't just great tonight, he has been great all year. I think he is the best player in college basketball and he showed it tonight.
