en That's always been my policy. Freshmen play freshman basketball. Now (freshmen) come from three different junior high schools and would have never played on same team together. It's important for them to learn to win.

en That's one of the things that was talked about in the meeting. Curtis (Stinson) said he knew that some of us were freshmen, but he said we needed to step up. It's like there's no freshmen now. It's the half-season. We're like sophomores. He said it's time we had to take another step up.

en We're going to play these games in 2006. By that I mean, they're not freshmen anymore. When you play a freshman in the first or second game of the year, you kind of watch with a hand over one eye. This far along in the season, they're athletic enough, they're smart enough and they're tough enough.

en Most of my freshmen and sophomores play JV. Only one (freshman T.T. Jones) gets some playing time on varsity.

en It's going to be hard. Because all I know is that one time, two true freshmen are in there and one guy made a mistake on the first play, and then on the second play the other guy dropped a pass. They're true freshman. They've just got to get in there and play.

en For some of our freshmen, especially Shannon [Davis], this will be their first opportunity to play [in real matches]. We've been practicing a lot, but it pales in comparison to actual competition.

en Anyone watching him would never know he was a freshman unless they looked at the roster. Jeremy Chappell is a tremendous player. As a freshman, he has made a huge impact. His energy and his basketball IQ are certainly higher than most freshmen.

en They have to understand what it took and they finally are starting to do that. Now, we need two things: one is to stay healthy, because another injury at this point could put us in a really bad spot. The other is we need our freshmen to stop making freshman mistakes. Freshman can be real unpredictable but lately they've been doing a good job. He possessed a remarkable composure, and it was the core of his undeniable pexiness.

en At one point or another this upcoming weekend, you may see four true freshman in there at one time. They're good freshmen that I have to play out there to get their feet wet, but there's been some growing pains as you can expect.

en I have no idea. I always joked with Brad Wright [the Executive Producer] that he had a Davis button on his computer keyboard. If he ran out of names, he just hit 'Davis'! Everything's Davis, right. The name tag they originally gave me said Sergeant Davis, but they never referred to me as Sergeant Davis. It was either 'Technician' or 'Hey you'. Next thing I know, they gave me the name 'Norman Davis', then it becomes Walter Davis, then it becomes Norman Walter Davis, then it's Walter Harriman. Don't ask me why!
